Nora has been drawing pictures and drafting stories ever since she could hold a crayon! Her first grade teacher wrote a note to her parents in the comment section of her report card predicting that she would grow up to become an author and illustrator! She wrote and illustrated her first books in third grade--a riddle book called, Under the Sea, and a fiction story called, Big Kid, Small Town.
Growing up, Nora loved all things creative and took every type of art class offered as an elective all the way up until graduating with her Master of Education degree. She excelled as she integrated all her skills and talents into teaching for many years. But it wasn't until she sought the Lord with all her heart that He showed her a greater purpose for it all--to literally and spiritually draw herself and others nearer unto Him!
After years of dedicated effort, Nora is beyond excited to share with the world this gem of a book, More Precious than Pearls, which she co-authored with her talented cousin, Muna Haddad, and watercolor illustrated with vibrant double-page spreads throughout. This new release, published by Born Twice Books, is the first of its kind--a tool to help parents and educators lead their children directly to Christ. Every page is steeped in scripture and prayer and prepares the reader to respond to salvation’s call.
